Hi All!!!
Delaney here...Happy New Year and welcome to our studio! Thank you for stopping by. This blog is our latest new development at GKS! We'd love to hear from our visitors and customers. My daughter Skye and I are used to a much more face to face relationship with our customers from going to craft shows throughout the Lower Peninsula of Michigan back in the 90's.

This past summer (2009) we spent many a weekend at the Dixieland Flea Market in Waterford, Michigan selling some unnecessary household items and re-introducing our crafts to the world. During the autumn months we took our wares to the Oakland County Farmer's Market on a few Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus ventured out to the quaint town of Lake Orion for their Farmer's Markets on Wednesday evenings.  We had a lot of fun, met some really great folks and are looking forward to the 2010 season.

It's snowing in the Detroit metro area today, first they said 6 to 8 inches, then 3 to 5 inches so who knows what we'll get. Every winter I realize just how spoiled I became from my years along the Gulf Coast in Texas and Florida when I start longing for Spring shortly after the beginning of the new year. I'll admitt my "cabin fever" has gotten worse and worse each year. How I long for sunshine, sand between my toes and those balmy salt breezes.
