We all know what knots are, but
where do they come from? Knots are so ancient they may acually predate both the invention of fire and the wheel! Archeologists
Sailors and Fishermen have utilized knots for centuries, for thousands of years actually. As far back as history
can trace some form of knotwork has been used. Even stone age man used knots to secure limbs together with vines to
create shelters. Sinew was knotted to bind sharp stones to sticks for tools and weapons. Knots have been utilized
throughout history, but when did knotwork become decorative or artistic? That is the real question.

Irish Linen Cord Jewelry Each piece is hand-made from fine Crawford Linen Cord
imported from Belfast, Ireland. Our knotted jewelry is hypo-allergenic, or safe
for even those with allergies. The jewelry is light weight and goes beautifully with anything from
bathing suits to denim and even wedding gowns. Our designs with shells have become very popular for
beach or tropical weddings, yet the beautiful Irish Linen cord makes them elegant enough to be worn year-round!
River Rock Paperweights How about a beautiful natural rock worn smooth by cool mountain water over the passage of time then hand painted by Skye with a design
symbolic of the Celtic lands, such as Shamrocks or Thistles? The painting is
all original designs most with Irish or Scottish themes with plenty of the stone left showing. Our rocks are sealed
with a protective coating that prevents chipping and brings out the natural beauty of the stone when wet.
Hand Wrapped Wreaths Unique hand-wrappedwreaths in Brittish Isles traditional fresh-cut Weeping Willow or more American Grapevine
decorated with realistic looking silk foliage and flowers and finished with a lovely handmade and color-coordinating
ribbon bow. Many of our willow wreaths are carefully wrapped into a unique Trinity knot, a
traditional Celtic design.
Snowflake Holiday Ornaments Unique, hand-knotted treasures and individually designed for a
holiday tree or window. Created by Delaney from the beautiful Irish linen cord, and inspired
by her Grandmother's handmade lace. An exquisite addition to celebrate the beauty of nature and winter. Individually
packaged for easy gift wrapping.
Stained Glass Each of our Stained Glass pieces is created from all original
designs by Delaney and Skye Hansen. We use the building method invented by Louis Comfort Tiffany over a hundred
years ago utilizing copper foil tape and solder to hold the pieces of glass together. Hang the sun catchers in a window
where the light will shine through them during the day and from outside they'll glow in the lamplight
of your room at night.
Round Mats Designed
and created by Delaney and hand knotted using only high quality linen cord imported from Ireland.
The light wax coating on the cord makes our open, lacelike designs possible and in the tradition of fine
linens we have chosen to use white cord in our work.
Hand Knotted Banners Hand-knotted onto a real tree branch, our
Banners are original designs and one of a kind pieces. Utilizing recycled wood from holiday
Pine trees, the hanging bar and beads are hand-made and many carved with Bear Faces, Celtic Knots,
Irish Shamrocks, Scottish Thistles, Pine Trees or Intertwined Hearts. Our Banners look beautiful on a wall or in a window
with light shining through the delicate open knotwork.
